Scrambler front tire swap

I am thinking ahead on my next tires, I'm debating switching to a 17" front wheel for better options. But if I stick with the stock 18" and go with Pirelli Angel GTs, could I safely size down to a 110/70 or bump to a 120/70? Has anyone tried this for better performance?

I wouldn't recommend straying from the recommended 110/80. Sizing down to a 110/70 would significantly alter the tire's profile and contact patch. It could lead to twitchy handling and potentially less stability, especially mid-corner. Bumping up to a 120/70 would likely create clearance issues and pinch the tire on the rim, so that would negatively impacting its intended shape and performance. I think it's best to match the tire size to the rim and the manufacturer's specs, not just for performance but for optimal safety too!

I totally get wanting to explore, but I'd be very careful with the sizes. Even small tweaks can totally change how the whole bike feels, you know? Best to play it safe
