Nightshift vs Desert Sled vs Urban Motard

I'm looking to buy a Nightshift for my first bike but friends began mentioning the Desert Sled and Urban Motard. I'm just a bit overwhelmed with so much choices so I'm glad to find this forum so I can get some advice.

I would usually take my bike for commute, just city rides. I prefer a tall seat, high bars and guard. I also like it to have a simple paint so it's easy on the eyes. Which one should I pick?

For city rides, seems like the Desert Sled is your match. It's the height and guards you want. bBut I suggest you sit on your choices at a dealer and get the feel of it!

I totally get the appeal of the Desert Sled, but just a heads-up, it's a bit heavier and taller, which might be tough if it's your first bike. Maybe test-sit all three first?
