Remap for 2020 Scrambler Café Racer does 2019 ECU Flash work

Hey, has anyone remapped their 2020 Scrambler Café Racer? I'm wondering if the 2019 ECU flash works on the 2020 since there's no 2020 map yet. If you've tried it or found another way, let me know how it went!

It's generally not recommended to flash a 2019 map onto a 2020 ECU, even if the bikes seem similar. There can be subtle differences in sensors or components that could lead to issues or at least not optimal performance. Also, sometimes they don't specifically label it for 2020 but some vendors offer general maps that are good for the 2020 models ore are integrated into broader year ranges.

If I'm not mistaken, XECU has a remap for the 2020 model, so you might want to consider that.

Yeah i figured some riders have used the 2019 ECU flash on their 2020 Scrambler Cafe Racers with decent results since the engines are nearly identical, though its not officially confirmed as a perfect match yet. It can work, but you might need a custom tune or dyno check to dial things in properly.
