Rear brake upgrade

If you're thinking about upgrading the rear brake setup on your scrambler, I might have something you'll like. soI camne across a custom project worked on by two guys using a scrambler swingarm paired with parts from a hypermotard. One of the key upgrades is the rear brake, swapping out the stock single piston caliper for the hypermotard's beefier two piston unit. now to make it work, they designed a custom caliper bracket that fits the hyper caliper onto the scrambler swingarm perfectly and then machined a few extras while at it, so if anyone's interested in doing the same upgrade, you can try this out and lets see how it goes

Is it safe to say that it is a Scrambler 1100 swingarm? I've heard the caliper bracket is the same for all the models.

That's an awesome mod! I actually did something similar with my R1200R, I swapped out the stock rear caliper for a more robust setup, and the difference in stopping power was night and day. It took a bit of trial and error to get everything to line up properly but man...once it was dialed in, it felt so much smoother and more responsive especially when I was pushing it through tight corners. If you're thinking about it, I'd say go for it, but make sure you've got the right tools and patience for the install, cause you'd need a lot of patience
