Would compression between 140-145 PSI be in the ballpark for a Nightshift cylinders or does that sound a touch off the norm?
Good to know it's not too far off the mark. I'll keep an eye on it and watch for any signs of trouble down the road!140-145 PSI might be a little below the ideal sweet spot. but it's not super low that screams trouble, it's worth observing though if you notice any performance issues.
A low battery had me pissing my pants one time, thinking the engine is toast and luckily a very wise man told me to get a new battery and run the test again. Now I'd plug the engine int he wall socket if I have to.I recall looking at the compression on my Scrambler Sixty2 and noticing similar readings. It ended up being completely fine once I took into account the altitude and the fact that the battery was a bit low during the test.
