Exaust upgrade

I'm interested in upgrading the exhaust on my scrambler in the near future, so I'm looking for any recommendations? I don't want it to be too loud, but I want a bit more tone. Also, since I'll be upgrading the eaxuase, I'll need to disable the secondary ais intake, so I could use some help with that as well

I've got the SC-Project Conic 70s on mine and its perfect deep tone that's not harsh is the one i was looking for. It also looks retro which is what i was aiming for. I recommend it 100 %. As for disabling the ais intake you are going to need block off plates specific to your model, resistor plug, socket set, allen keys and pliers. Remove the fuel tank and unbolt and remove the ais lines and reed valves. In place of the reed valves, you need to install block-off plates and cap off the intake at the airbox. Hope this helps

To have a solid tone without being crazy loud you can check out the Vance & Hines or Akrapovic setups and as for the AIS, you'll need a block-off kit to disable it

Best id go with the Arrow Pro-Race or Akrapovic slip-ons,, they offer better tone without being too loud. To disable the secondary AIS intake, use block-off plates or yet plug the lines to prevent faults.

How much of a sound change did you notice after disabling the AIS? Did it deepen the tone even more or just reduce backfire? Appreciate the tipsm, definitely eyeing the SC-Project Conic 70s now!

I've got a 2021 Scrambler Icon and have been eyeing the Conic 70s for that vintage look and mellow sound. Yours sounds spot on. Quick question though. Ddid removing the AIS change how the bike runs at low RPMs or during cold starts? And did you notice any difference in popping or backfire after the mod?
