Combination to achieve a power boost of even 25%?

At first, I must admit that my expectations were extremely high. I believed the Scrambler to be one of those bikes that you could turn into a beast by adding an exhaust and pulling a 1/2" snorkel. My BS detector is going off pretty strongly, though, as it appears that there isn't a clear consensus on the PUK after some research.

Is it possible for an airbox, exhaust, and tune combination to achieve a power boost of even 25%? Has anyone genuinely dynoed it and observed genuine gains?

Read a few threads about this sorcery, I doubt any of it is a valid claim though. The dyno graph is kinda fishy if you ask me. A snorkel would help but not that significant as it doesnt really have that much help in the torque.

I get where you're coming from, adding an exhaust and tuning can definitely help, but a 25% boost seems optimistic

optimistic is an overstatement if you ask me. In theory yes, you could, maybe even more, but you'll need a butload of tuning, tweaking and you may get those numbers in a lab. In the real world you won't be anywhere near that.

Nah 25% i think is a reach, most real dyno tests show modest gains around 6-10%. It may improve throttle response and sound, but turning it into a "beast" usually needs bigger mods beyond that combo.

Yeah, I've gone through that with my old Scrambler a few years ago. I did the intake, added a full exhaust, and got it tuned, hoping to unleash a beast. On the dyno, it went from 63 to about 69 horsepower, which is roughly a 9% increase. The throttle felt a lot sharper, and it sounded awesome, but it wasn't the 25% miracle I was really hoping for. If you're after some serious power, you'll need to consider upgrades like cams, a big bore kit, or forced induction. The bolt-ons definitely improve the riding feel, but they won't magically turn your bike into a rocket on their own

Back when I had my old Desert Sled, I chased those same claims. Did the usual bolt-ons and tune, got maybe an 8% bump, tops. The hype online's always louder than the dyno.

Usually, a slip-on, de-snorkel, and tune boost peak horsepower but dont add much torque because stock torque isn't really restricted. Since there haven't really been any updates or real proof online, i'm doubtful those big claims are legit. If they were, plenty of Scrambler owners would be talking them up by now.
